“Are you happy?”
It’s funny how what strikes her heart
Is a question not from someone who knows
But from a passerby,
“Am I happy?”
I ask myself,
Pondering
Wondering
What defines happiness?
On what standard can we compare happiness?
How can we be happy?
What makes us happy?
“I am grateful”
I decide
Thankful to have a life filled with possibilities.
thankful to have a family and a home.
